Indonesia is ready for a sweet new milestone: Bali Culinary Pastry School (BCPS) will start running official courses of Carpigiani Gelato University in the country.
The inspiring Bali based institution that cultivates culinary, pastry & bakery chefs and F&B professionals in an environment of absolute authenticity – has teamed up and become the campus of Carpigiani Gelato University - the most prestigious school in the world, founded in Anzola Emilia (Bologna,Italy) in 2003, that aims to educate people in the art of gelato. The collaboration will see an increasing number of educational programs over the years.

For the very first time, Bali Culinary Pastry School will host the Gelato Start-Up Course. The new partnership of Bali Culinary Pastry School (Indonesia) and Carpigiani Gelato University (Italy) aims to set historical milestones and aims to spread the artisan gelato culture in Indonesia. Bali Culinary Pastry School will also become a center of excellence for artisan gelato>.
M. Ariani Siswanto, the founder of Bali Culinary Pastry School, believes that this is an important opportunity and the first step for Indonesians to be able to enhance their skills by learning gelato technical knowledge with International standard in Indonesia.
The very first Gelato Start-Up Course at the Bali Culinary Pastry School will be organized from 22-24 October 2018, the senior instructor of Carpigiani Gelato University Andrea De Bellis will run the class. About Carpigiani Gelato University
Founded in 2003 as the training division of the Carpigiani Group, is today recognized internationally as a breeding ground for successful gelato artisans. Its mission is to educate people about the culture of artisanal gelato. This year the school has organized more than 400 courses in 10 languages, for a total of more than 12,000 hours of instruction, statistics that have tripled over the past three years. The school’s main campus is in Anzola Emilia, Bologna (Italy), and training also takes place in other 12 satellite campuses around the world.
